HARD Summer Music Festival is the one music festival every summer you’re pretty much guaranteed to sweat at the most. And if you don’t know, you can always ask your friends on Twitter who’ve been to all the previous HARD summers - they’ll pretty much convince you to go naked, but I won’t so don’t worry! This is your somewhat comprehensive guide on what to wear to HARD Summer Music Festival.

So let’s think about this: HARD Summer will be taking place at the NOS Events Center in San Bernadino again this year, where average daily temps so far this month are in the 100’s. That’s definitely something to keep in mind! So, before we dive into the fashion, here are a few functional suggestions in addition to your cute fits that could help keep you from a trip to the ER. PLEASE, for the love of Pasquale, STAY HYDRATED out there!

Functional Wear

• Hydration Pack
• Fan  (if you like dancing, trust me, you’ll want one!)
• Sun glasses (keep those corneas safe fam! Make it extra fashion with some cute visors!)
• Fask mask (HARD summer is known to get pretty dusty! Make sure to protect your face from any dust, sun, germs, etc!) 
• Comfortable shoes
• Extra pasties

And now, to the fun(ner) part: FASHION. We LOVE a good fit! But what’s in a “good fit”? Honestly, it’s all subjective! I’ve been both the one in the big t-shirt & vans AND the one in the cute two piece stomping around in Demonias like I own the place - it’s all about balance baby! At the end of the day, what really matters is that you’re wearing something that you’re comfortable and feel beautiful in.

Jauz x IHR

In case you didn’t know, our boy Jauz just dropped a collection with I Heart Raves and it’s pretty much perfect since he’ll be playing that first Saturday! Not to mention the fact that the pieces are flattering, fashion forward and will keep you nice & cool since they’re of the bathing suit variety. It’s honestly hard to choose a favorite from this collection but if I absolutely HAD to I’d give it to the Shark Bodysuit because that shark bite cut out goes HARD.

For the LEO babes

For those of you who aren’t on the astrology wave, HARD Summer goes on right in the middle of the fabulous Leo Season (7/23 - 8/22). For those of you who ARE on the astrology wave - IHR said “let there be RAVE HOROSCOPE!” and so it was!

So whether you’re a Leo on the prowl or a Scorpio baddie, there’s something for every sign under the natal sun in this collection! 

For the Shufflers

I may be a little biased because I'm a shuffler/dancer myself, but I am ALWAYS looking for the clothes that I’ll feel the most comfortable in while shuffling - aka biker shorts, comfy shoes and/or big tees! Although I'm not necessarily recommending a big t-shirt for HARD Summer due to the heat, it could be a good option if you are trying to avoid the sun on your skin altogether & IHR has some cute mesh options that give you the best of both worlds!

Biker shorts for shuffling though? That’s the sauce right there! & if you would rather wear a cute two piece set, you can always try the fishnet biker shorts to go over your fit for a little extra edge!

Electric Visionz

I really love this collection because not only is it fashion forward, but it’s eclectic too. You get anything from cute floral/trippy prints reminiscent of the 60’s to reflective cutout corsets that take you back to the future where Britney Spears rules our hearts once more.
