Pastel outfits in tones of baby pink, blue & lavender are always a sweet and cute choice. Pair these looks with silver, holographic and sparkly accessories. Electric daisy carnival girls are known for being extra sweet! You can always use pastel as a basis for your EDC outfits and EDC costume ideas.
You can never go wrong with all black for your simple edc outfits. If you wanna feel like a baddie, pair booty shorts or a mini skirt with a mesh black top and thigh high boots. When choosing the pieces for your black outfit, look at the details and go with items that have something unique about them such as a buckle or harness element.
I consider mesh to be the “little black dress” of the rave scene. Every girl simply needs to have a few mesh outfits for womens EDC. Mesh is nice to have, especially because you can create multiple looks by switching out the tops or bottoms that you wear underneath.
Happy Ever After Marabou Mesh Top and Skirt
Circuit Breaker Spliced Fishnet Top
Give your outfit that little extra 'oomf by adding platform shoes to your look. Platforms come in all kinds of shapes, sizes, and colors and are absolutely essential to your EDC outfit. In addition to giving your outfit that little bit of extra flair, chances are that the extra height will be nice for seeing the stages! EDC boots come in all colors and heel heights but platforms are definitely the most fun.
Never worn platforms to a festival? Check out this guide for Wearing Platforms to a Festival

]]>Social distancing making you go stir crazy? Have no fear - there are plenty of things you can do to take your mind off of things that are productive. Plus, your future self will thank you once festival season is back in action! From making kandi to learning a new festival skill, check out this list of things to do during social distancing that can all be done from the comfort of your own home.
1. Make Kandi
You can never have too much kandi on hand! Now is a great time to check out a new tutorial to try something challenging like making a 3D cuff. Plus, you can order beads on Amazon so you don’t have to leave your house. Making kandi can also be a soothing activity to take your mind off of other things!
2. Learn a New Festival Skill
Ever wanted to shuffle, hoop, pixel whip, orbit, etc, but never had the time to learn? Now is a perfect time! With the power of the internet at your fingertips, you can easily YouTube some tutorials from the comfort of your living room. You’ll be SO happy you did this once festival season comes back in action!
3. Watch a Live Steam with your friends via Google Hangouts
While it’s tragic that some festivals have been canceled, why not relive an old festival live steam with your friends? Plan a time to connect on Google Hangouts (or just a good ol’ group chat), crack open a beer and relive all the feels through a live steam. Consider checking out EDC or Ultra’s archives.

4. Plan the Ultimate Festival Adventure
Chances are, right now you’re probably saving money - so, why not come up with a budget to have the ULTIMATE festival adventure when festivals are back in action? Pick a future destination with you and your squad and put together a budget for an epic trip. Ever wanted to ball out on VIP? Now’s your chance to put together a budget to share with your squad about how it’s actually a legit option. Because things are so up in the air, I’d recommend planning for a trip that’s at least two months away, as well as getting travel insurance for everything you book.
5. Clean/Reorganize Your Festival Wardrobe
If you're anything like me, chances are that there's an explosion of festival clothes strewn randomly around your closet or under your bed. Now's a great time to reorganize or donate! Plus, you'll have more room for all your 2020 outfits.
6. Spread Some PLUR
PLUR doesn't have to stop because festivals aren't happening right now. There are tons of people that need help at a time like this! Ask your friends or family if they know somebody that needs some grocery shopping done. Or, simply spread some cheer via the internet - reconnect with old friends via messenger, compliment a stranger, etc! You have the power of positivity right at your fingertips.
No matter how you choose to spend your time social distancing, remember to stay positive and look out for each other! Now is our time to be leaders in our community and show the rest of the world what PLUR truly means.
Stay safe & healthy, fam!
]]>You're in luck - Forbidden Kingdom Music Festival, the largest bass and Dubstep Festival in South Florida, will return for two days in sunny, Boca Raton, FL on February 15th and 16th. This medieval-themed festival features a STACKED lineup with major names such as Excision, Dion Timmer, Zomboy, Adventure Club, Sullivan King and more.
Not only is this lineup a full reason to send it, but if you're dealing with winter across the country right now (like me in freezing cold Denver), then a trip to Boca Raton this time of year sounds magical. With an average temp of SEVENTY-SEVEN degrees, this is one fest that you can dress to impress without having to worry about freezing your rave booty off at. And, if you're traveling from out of town, why not make a trip out of this festival and stay for a few days at the beach?!
Seriously, this venue is gorgeous! Photo Credit: Forbidden Kingdom
Now, let's talk about some of these artists featured on the lineup. First things first, Excision will be playing a Detox set and an OG set on Sunday (Day 2) of the festival. Although I've yet to experience Forbidden Kingdom for myself, I'm willing to bet this will be one heck of a good time.
In addition to the king himself, Forbidden Kingdom Music Festival features tons of other artists that will break yer neck. Here are 4 other artists that you cannot miss:
Dion Timmer
I haven't been able to witness a Dion Timmer set live, but from all the live sets I've listened to, I think it will be well worth the wait. Saying this young artist is talented is an understatement - I'm seriously blown away every time Dion Timmer releases new music. Check out this brand new track he just released with Calcium (featuring Celestic), titled "Insane"!
Sullivan King
I NEVER miss an opportunity to shake the ground with fellow headbangers during a Sullivan King set. I've seen him twice live and he does.not.dissapoint. I'm always extra amazed when an artist can DJ and also play an instrument live. Trust me, you don't want to miss this one. Check out this live set from E. Zoo that always gets me pumped at the gym!
Adventure Club
A classic duo, Adventure Club, is always a fun time. I love that I love all of their music and can get all the feels with some classic throwbacks, as well as get down to some of their newer tracks. It's a great feeling when you've supported an artist from the beginning and are still loving their music years later!
Doctor P
I love getting down to the wonky beats of Doctor P. I've only had the chance to see Doctor P once but it was an awesome set and I'd love to chance to see him live again. This song is an oldie, but a goodie:
Don't miss out on this Headbanger's Paradise - tickets to Forbidden Kingdom are available here!
]]>Held at the Convention Center, this festival is no joke. Featuring two huge stages and a silent disco stage, this festival is truly a playground of PLUR. Oh, and there's a huge blue bear outside that makes for great Denver-landmark-esque photos.
I'm not going to lie, I've been attending raves and festivals for 9 years and it truly takes a lot to get me out of the house these days. However, after I attended a record-low in shows this year and after a heart-breaking Day 2 at Global Dance, I knew I had to end the year with a bang. When the Decadence lineup dropped back in September, I was 100% sold. I couldn't remember the last time I was so excited for BOTH days of a lineup which truly never seems to happen anymore.
Around New Year's, it seems like there's a lot of talk about whether the rave community is "dying", "sold out" or "too mainstream." Although I went into the event with these thoughts lingering in the back of my mind, I told myself I was going to go into this event with an open mind and no expectations. And, I am happy to say, that this is not what I experienced whatsoever. Yes, there were some attendees that were too drunk and obnoxious, but for the most part, the vibes were great for me all night!
Opposite of attending with a large squad like we normally do, I did Day 1 with just my husband. It was really fun going to an event where we didn't have to make a ton of plans with inevitable set conflicts - it was just us and the music.
Of course, Bassnectar did not disappoint and shook my soul, literally. I had a feeling that would be my favorite set of the night and I'm so happy it was. No matter how many times I've seen Lorin, it never gets old. Coming in hot second was Tiesto. We were really close to the stage with a ton of room to dance and it was great to hear some of my favorite, classic EDM tunes.
On Day 2, we still kept our squad small and just went with one of our good friends. It's tough to pick a favorite set from that night because there were so many sets that I was excited to see. From Steve Aoki's fun energy that hyped up the crowd early in the night, to getting my soul snatched by Space Mom, getting all the feels at Slander, and grooving to Don Diablo, the music aspect was absolutely great!
Aside from the music, there were tons of cool art installations to check out. My personal favorite was this really cool, big dome that had visuals on the inside, complete with a carpet underneath so you could sit down and look up. It definitely was a good place to take a break from dancing and stare off into space, literally.
Photo Courtesy of Jaybird Photography & Decadence
I loved all the other art installations, too! There was a 'futuristic' vibe going on with a lot of the art that was cool to look at.
Photo Courtesy of Jaybird Photography & Decadence
There were also lights on these trees that looked like a lit-up, enchanted forest - it was so pretty!
Overall, I'm really happy I decided to attend Decadence this year. From the stage production, to the performers, and art installations, this year's event was unmatched. It was a great way to start 2020 and end nearly a decade of raving for me. You can definitely bet I'll be back next year.
Next up: Catch me at Global Dance Festival in July, ready to rock!
]]>As the end of the year is quickly approaching and the hustle and bustle of the holidays die down, it's time to start thinking about one of the most important nights of the year: New Year's Eve. With the stacked lineup that Decadence Colorado has blessed us with, it's no problem finding artists that you want to see - the problem is who to see. While it was a hard decision to make, here are the top 5 artists that I CANNOT miss at Decadence NYE.
]]>If you're reading this, chances are that you've probably made the decision to send it Decadence Colorado. First off, congratulations - there's no better place to ring in the new DECADE with your rave fame (at least in my humble opinion ;) And, if you're still on the fence, hopefully, this articles gives you major FOMO and you make the right decision on where to ring in the new year.
With a stacked lineup like this, it's no problem finding artists that you want to see.
Although we wish we could see them all, it's inevitable that there will probably be some set conflicts for you. While it was a hard decision to make, here are the top 5 artists that I CANNOT miss at Decadence NYE.
1. Rezz -
Okay, this is a superrrr obvious choice, but for good reason - how could you attend Decadence and NOT see space mom, ESPECIALLY because she'll be playing into the next decade, literally. I could not be more excited to spend the ball drop with Rezz!
This EP came out over the summer, but it's still one of my most favorite things to listen to, especially 'Falling" featuring Underoath (which makes the former, emo kid inside me cry for joy).
2. Zed's Dead
It's Zed's Dead, baby! This dynamic duo has NEVER disappointed me live and I truly cannot wait to see them again for the first time in 2019. Make sure you pace yourself because they'll be playing the last set until 3am.
This single, a collab with Dion Timmer is one of my favorite songs of all time.
3. Big Gigantic
I love Big Gigantic for many reasons, but mostly because the sound is so unique. I love getting down to these funky beats and groovin' all night long. If you're looking for some fresh new music, grab a cup of [spiked] hot chocolate, and check out this chill, Winter Mix they just dropped.
4. Steve Aoki
We've hit tubulance...I know there are a lot of mixed opinions about Steve Aoki, but to be honest, I really love him. Also - this was my first raver ever back in 2012, so Steve will also hold a place in my heart. I'm looking forward to dancing all night long to his crazy, upbeat style. It's also been so long since I've seen him live that I'm really looking forward to this set!
5. Bassnectar
Because....it's Bassnectar. Although I've seen the kind countless times, his sets never get old. Unfortunately, you won't be able to ring in 2020 at this set, but I think it's just what I'll need to get in full NYE mode the night before! This classic song is a pre-game ritual before any Bassnectar show.
Who are YOU most excited to see at Decadence Colorado?
FOMO got the best of you? There's a very limited amount of Decadence tickets here.
It's hard to believe that there's less than two months left in 2019! If you've decided to make the trip to Decadence Colorado, you made the right decision for where to ring in 2020!
Fortunately, this year I'm living in Denver so this will be my first time attending Decadence without having to travel! If you're traveling from out of town, here are some tips from a Veteran Decadence Traveler to make your adventure to Decadence Colorado a magical, yet efficient trip!
First things first, if you've been living under a rock - check out the Decadence lineup to know WHY Decadadence Colorado is THE place to be this New Year's eve!
Lineup By Day:
Day 1, Dec. 30th: Bassnectar, Boys Noize, Cash Cash, Clozee, Feed Me, Ganja White Night, Jai Wolf, Mersiv, Oliver Heldens, Softest Hard, Tchami & Malaa, Tiësto, Whethan
Day 2, Dec. 31st: Cosmic Gate, Diesel, Don Diablo, Fisher, Gareth Emery, Graves, Louis the Child, Rezz, San Holo, Slander, Steve Aoki, Zeds Dead
Where to Stay
If you're looking for hotels at Decadence, there are tons of places to stay nearby the Colorado Convention Center which is conveniently located right near downtown Denver. Fortunately for you, Global Dance has put together this handy guide to finding the perfect hotel: Check it out here.
How to Get to Downtown Denver
DIA is the only major airport hub, and because it is such a major hub, flights from other major cities are usually fare-ly affordable (see what I did there)? Also, the RTD Light Rail station goes straight from DIA straight downtown to Union Station, which is where you'll likely be staying since it's so close to the Convention Center! The ride is only $10 and takes about 40 minutes.
What to Pack
In addition to the standard rave packing, remember - it will be freezing! Check out iHeart's faux fur selection so you can be fashionable and warm! On the flip side, it can also be sunny and 60 degrees in the middle of winter. Bottom line? I recommend layers. Also pro tip: on the nights of the event: if it's freezing cold, consider wearing sweats over your rave outfit to the show, then stuffing them in your backpack or locker once inside. Trust me, you'll thank me later!)
Where to Eat
I LOVE that there are so many options to eat in Denver, especially downtown! From sandwiches to ramen to Italian, Denver has it all. 303 Magazine typically puts together a monthly food guide for hidden gems - I highly recommend checking it out!
Have you ever traveled to Decadence? What are your number one tips for travelers?
P.s. If you're already experiencing FOMO, check out this sneak peek video!
See you in the 303 in December!
]]>However, while the lineup is obviously important, there are tons of other factors when choosing the New Year's Eve fest that's right for you!
Luckily for me, there's one of the best New Year's Eve festivals that's right in my own city - Decadence Colorado. If you're not fortunate enough to live in colorful coloRADo, trust me when I say this is one event that's worth traveling to! In fact, this will be my third year attending Decadence and the first time I don't have to travel to Denver to attend (thanks to a move earlier this year).
Lineup By Day:
Day 1, Dec. 30th: Bassnectar, Boys Noize, Cash Cash, Clozee, Feed Me, Ganja White Night, Jai Wolf, Mersiv, Oliver Heldens, Softest Hard, Tchami & Malaa, Tiësto, Whethan
Day 2, Dec. 31st: Cosmic Gate, Diesel, Don Diablo, Fisher, Gareth Emery, Graves, Louis the Child, Rezz, San Holo, Slander, Steve Aoki, Zeds Dead
The Sweet Venue
Some people are excited to embrace the outdoors for NYE, which is totally cool if that’s your thing. However, I do not get along well with the cold, so I’m looking forward to being toasty indoors. Plus, this means I can rock my super cute NYE rave outfit, which does not involve having to layer. The Colorado Convention Center proudly boasts three stages with plenty of room to dance and plenty of room in between stages to eliminate noise competition. Pro tip: I highly recommend wearing sweatpants to the venue and stashing them in your backpack for the walk home. Last year it was 5 degrees outside, which made our 10-minute walk feel like an hour!

Because it's in Denver!
In addition to two days of stacked music, this location of this event freakin' rocks (I may be biased since I live here, but I don't care - it's the truth!). Downtown Denver boasts good food, great craft beers, and guarantees good times. I love that there's so much to do in this city. If you have the option to extend your trip to do some exploring, I would highly recommend it. Another great thing about Decadence - there are many hotels within walking to the Convention Center. Many of them are pretty affordable, especially compared to other New Year’s Events (as long as you plan ahead and book relatively early!) Last year, we stayed at the Sheraton downtown which was a quick 10-minute walk to the venue! I recommend checking out the "Find Hotels" feature on the Decadence website - it’s super convenient and easy to use!
The Colorado Convention Center boasts 2,200,000 square feet for dancing all night long. And yes, it also contains a larger-than-life statue of a Blue Bear outside the front of the building. (Image Courtesy of Decadence/Badastronaut)
The Performers and Production
Performers always make my day at events, but NYE is one of my favorite holidays (next to Halloween), so I’m extra stoked to see the performers at Decadence. They always do a great job with the styling and outfits - I can’t wait to see what they do this year! Last year the production was insane at Decadence and I can't wait to see what's in store this year!

Decadence Tickets are moving FAST for this event, so get yours while you can! If you can't afford a ticket, I definitely recommend hopping on the payment plan option!
See you in Denver!

Rainbow Shine Underboob Crop Top, Rainbow Thong Booty Shorts
Rainbow Snake Charmer Top, Rainbow Snake Charmer Booty Shorts, Studded Faux Leather Skirt (Pro tip: adding a hint of black to your rainbow/tie-dye outfit can easily tone down the outfit and add a hint of bad-ass vibes)
I Feel the Love Sequin High Waisted Bottoms, I Feel the Love Rainbow Sequin Crop Top
Crop Tops pair nicely with all kinds of bottoms - from velvet booty shorts to micro cutouts, and even jean shorts. They even pair well with leggings which you’ll likely be adding to your outfit by nighttime.
Mesh crop tops and t-shirts are an excellent way to beat the heat and show off super cute pasties, boob jewels, or even a sports bra, or a bralette. This adds an extra way for you to get creative with your look.
Free Yourself Fishnet Tie Crop Tee
If you tend to burn easily, I would definitely recommend a kimono to protect you from the sun, especially because shade can be hard to come by at the Gorge. savormeditation has several Kimonos and Dusters options that are lightweight and the perfect piece to take your outfit to the next level. Check out the various options, from rainbow print to holographic sequins. Pair it with a bodysuit and the right combination of rave accessories and you’ll be the star of the show!
If you're shopping for your rave bae (or if you're a guy looking for some Diso Style inspo) check out savormeditation' huge selection of tanks, tees, and shorts. Also, I personally enjoy stealing clothes from my rave bae so that I can rock the long tee + hosiery look!
May the Bass Be With You Shorts and Tank
As I said earlier, it can get chilly in the evening - especially after the sun goes down. It’s much better to be safe rather than sorry! You can always purchase a locker ahead of time to store your jacket in (pro tip: stash an extra pair of comfy shoes in your locker, too. I guarantee by midnight, you won’t want to be climbing around the gorge in the same shoes you were dying to wear for photos) Here’s some of our most popular styles of outerwear.
If you tend to get cold easily, maybe you’re looking for something warmer. savormeditation has tons of cute coats that come in tons of fun styles and colors!
Can't Be Tamed Raw Hemmed Jacket
Look out of this world and stay snuggly with one of our many galaxy print hoodies. Made with ultra-soft fabric, our Pullover Hoodies are another great option to layer up and still look stylish.
Just because it gets cold doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice looking cute! Check out some of our awesome galaxy print leggings - a great way to look cute and stay warm. Plus, leggings don’t take up much room in your backpack and won’t add much extra weight.
Whether you’re styling for daytime or nighttime, rave accessories can take any outfit to the next level. These are absolutely key to spicing up any outfit. Always pack extra festival glitter and festival jewels! I also like to bring some other fun accessories like a pair of butterfly wings, extra leg wraps and hosiery, and a cute fan (a great photo prop and a way to keep cool!)
Give your outfit that extra sparkle with some rave glitter and face jewels combos. from chunky to gel to biodegradable, savormeditation has tons of glitter options in every color imaginable!
Packing Extra Pasties is a must! Don’t forget to stick an extra pair in your rave backpack on the way into the gates.
Seamless Masks are a MUST when traveling to the Gorge. Not only will your lungs thank you for keeping dust out of them, but seamless masks also provide another cute way to accessorize.
Hydrate in style with a Hydration Pack! You’ll look cute and have a hands-free way to hydrate. USC Events provides Hydration Stations inside the venue, so you only have to stop dancing to refill your hydration pack every few hours. This is a MUCH better alternative to having to lug around a water bottle and keep refilling it every 20 minutes.

]]>Here are 5 reasons why I'm looking forward to Escape Psycho Circus:
#1: THE LINEUP
Okay, this one is super obvious, but let’s take a minute to gush over it anyways. There’s a total of four stages at Escape, boasting an incredible amount of headliners over just two nights! I will for sure be at Ghoul’s Graveyard most of both nights - you can DEFINITELY catch me at Excision (I haven’t seen him in over a year and I couldn’t be more thrilled), GTA, Joyryde, Eric Prydz and Tchami x Malaa. I’m also looking to exploring the rest of the stages and catching some classic headliners like Kaskade, Zed’s Dead and Diplo.
#2: Dressing Up
I love dressing up for raves! Combine this love with my favorite holiday and, BAM, I’m one happy camper. It’s no secret that the savormeditation Team likes to wear matching outfits and we can’t wait to show you what we’re brewing up this year. Catch us on the savormeditation instagram stories to see our costumes and follow along with our adventures during the weekend!
If you’re looking for costume inspo, check out our blog post created with Escape Pyscho Circus Outfits in mind!
#3: The Asylum
Last year, Insomniac announced the return the Asylum - a 32,000 square foot Haunted House that takes the meaning of “Haunted House” to the next level. This horrifying exhibit is staged like a real-life Insane Asylum - complete with straight jackets. Get ready to be completely terrified as a nurse slaps a mask on your face and gives your “medication” and sends you on your way to meet the “Master.” This massive exhibit features 30 distinct environments with movie-stage quality, 120 interactive performers and 25 separate sound systems. You even get to keep the custom Escape hockey mask - so you can be reminded of your biggest nightmares again and again!
I’m definitely a chicken when it comes to Haunted Houses, but I’ve heard amazing things about this incredible performance, so I’m planning to suck it up.
#4: The Performers
The performers at Insomniac Events always go all out, but I’m especially looking forward to seeing the performers at Escape Pyscho Circus. I love thatthere are so many different spooky looks, including psycho clowns and blood-soaked brides. The photos I’ve seen of the incredible makeup and special effects to make these outfits believable is absolutely amazing. I’m looking forward to seeing it in person and hopefully getting to take some pictures!

#5: The Weather
Last year, my husband and I moved to Socal from The Pacific Northwest. I still haven’t gotten used to this concept that’s it’s sunny and warm almost all year round here. In my opinion, we’re totally spoiled with the weather at Escape. While most Halloween raves require careful outfit planning with layers to keep warm, the weather at Escape is usually an average of 83 (high) and 54 (low). This year it looks like it’s supposed to be in the 70s which sounds perfect to me! I’m planning to bring a cute faux fur jacket to throw over my costume just in case it gets chilly late at night.
Bonus: Just Because It’s Halloween
As I said, Halloween has always been one of my favorite holidays. As I got older, it became less about actual Halloween night and more about Hallo-weekend. This weekend has always been a special weekend for me, but especially since I started raving. In 2014, my boyfriend and I went to our first rave together, Freaknight, in Seattle. We had a great time (despite my phone getting stolen and Day 2 of Freaknight getting canceled) and knew that raving would always be a special part of our relationship. My boyfriend made the concept of Hallo-weekend even more special by proposing the following year at Freaknight. Last year we moved from the Pacific Northwest, so this will be our first Halloween rave we’re attending together in Socal. I can’t wait to make new memories!
I'm a total cheeseball, but I love matching couples outfits! From left to right; 2014, 2015 & 2016
If you're still hoping to attend Escape Psycho Circus, move quickly! Tickets are selling out fast. For more event/ticketing info, head to Insomniac's website for full details.
]]>I had the pleasure of meeting Tasha last December during our first lifestyle shoot with her. Instantly, I knew we had something in common when I heard she was going to Disneyworld with her boyfriend AND that she liked bass music. We talked about Disney and general headbanger things and I was happy to learn that she's just with both as obsessed as I am! It's been a lot of fun to work with Tasha over the last few months and I was so excited to interview this badass woman to help our readers get to know this amazing soul.

]]>Upon arriving to the Glen Helen Amphitheater, I was immediately transported into festival mode simply by walking into the security lines. Everybody was wearing bright, vibrant colors which I normally expect a rave, but it was like everybody was on the same page with matching the event's colored advertisements. The first positive thing I have to say about Nocturnal is that I felt like security worked hard to move the line quickly and efficiently. I've attended many events where the organization was lacking in this area and it can set the mood off for the entire night. After getting through security quickly, we were funneled through a giant black light tunnel with colorful rings.
Walking through the tunnel felt like walking into another world. Feeling the pulse of the music while simultaneously overlooking most of the festival while the sun had just barely set felt magical. All the trees were twinkling and it seriously looked like exactly like one of the awesome still shots from Nocturnal's Instagram page - no filter necessary. I was immediately in love with the scenery and the vibes.
I heard that Nocturnal downsized a lot this year and that many people were disappointed about that. Although this was my first time attending Nocturnal, I can definitely say this event felt intimate and I loved that aspect. While the venue was substantially crowded, it wasn't packed to the point where it felt like nobody was able to move (or breathe). I enjoyed being able to easily navigate from stage to stage, especially between sets and I was able to get up to the front of the main stage more than a few times (a rarity in my past experiences).
All of the stages were really cool looking and I especially enjoyed the Labyrinth and the Sunken Garden’s look and vibe. Another new thing for me was the Boombox Art Car Installation, located to the right of the main stage. I've never seen one in real life and it had a great vibe going on every time I went over there. It was also a great place to shuffle around.
One of the only negative things for me was not being prepared for it to get to so cold so quickly. Unfortunately, I had to say goodbye to my very cute iHR rave outfits much earlier than I expected. Fortunately, I had a backup jacket and furry hood but wished I brought something warmer.
The plus side of being cold is that it definitely kept me dancing! As far as the music went, I wrote an article before Nocturnal Wonderland listing out the 5 sets I wanted to see. (you can check it out here). I have to say, I was so excited that each of these artists did not disappoint! My favorite set and memory of the weekend were being on the rail for Valentino Khan.
I was on Cloud 9 after waiting for two years to see Valentino Khan again. As if riding the rail wasn’t spectacular enough, shortly afterwards I turned around and saw the one and only Pasquale Rotella standing behind me. He was so incredibly nice and I was so honored to meet the man who creates such magic for all of us headliners.
All in all, the weekend was filled with magical vibes, good food and time well-spent with new and old friends. I'm already having withdrawals and can't wait to go back next year. Until then, see you all at Escape!
