Raving brings all people of different ages together for the music, culture, and lifestyle. There isn’t a ‘right’ age to experience your first rave and that’s the beauty of it, but once you start there’s no going back. The rush to attend as many events as possible becomes addicting and sometimes real life takes the back burner.

For the second year in a row Woogie Weekend has left me feeling like it’s a cannot miss festival of SoCal. The DoLab is the curator of good vibes, and let me tell you, they were great at Woogie. The festival was more vibrant and more full than its first year and it’s exciting to see how it has grown. Some highlights of the weekends included this giant slip and slide, the way each stage lit up at night, and the new friends I got to meet. 

Instagram is a powerful social media platform that connects ravers from all over the world through beautifully presented photos. I love going through event hashtags to reconnect with ravers I had met and traded with when I forget to exchange contact information. Sometimes you’re meant to only cross paths with a person once, but sometimes those small interactions blossom into friendship. 

It’s amazing how quickly days can pass when you’re having the time of your life. Once again, Lightning In A Bottle has enchanted my Memorial Day Weekend. This year I had the chance to explore a lot more of what LiB has to offer beyond the main stages, and I’m so glad I took the time to wander this year. 

I’ve been getting a lot of questions recently about tips for Lighting In A bottle from people so they can be prepared for what will be an awesome festival weekend. The sold out festival is less than 2 weeks away. To help you prepare, I’d like to tell you a few things that you definitely need to remember to do or bring with you for Lightning In A Bottle.

Lightning In A Bottle is just around the corner! With only a few weeks to go, it’s time we get to the nitty gritty of what’s going on at LIB. There’s so many things to do, that we really need to do our research beforehand! But I’m here to help make it simple. Here’s 3 things you definitely can’t miss at LIB 2016.

We know Ghastly as the edgy character with eyes behind his shades that pierce harder than the knife tattooed on his forearm, but despite his image of an inexplicable ghost- he’s just as human, if not more than anyone else. 

Festival season is here, which means it’s time to start thinking about the best part about raving: our outfits!

For most of us, we have several festivals on our schedule already, which means several different outfits, which can also mean spending a lot of money on several different pieces. But for those of us who like to show out on a budget, the only key piece we all should invest in is the black bodysuit. 

In school, we’re always told to think about our future and what we are passionate about. Teachers push us to pursue a career in the working world and give us the tools to go after our dreams. They always show us options for your typical careers in medicine, science, business, etc, but never about careers that have to do with EDM! As ravers, this is a lifestyle that we love and we should be able to make a career that integrates our passions. 

Last year Lightning In A Bottle sold out for its first time ever, and you can believe that this year, the festival will be sold out again. As a festival that explores the true meaning of community, exploration, musical freedom and creativity, Lightning In A Bottle is truly a magical festival that has attendees leaving inspired.

First time ravers have so much to look forward to! Being at a rave is such a unique experience, and everybody always remembers their first one. But sometimes going to your first rave is so different than anything else you have ever been to and you get so overwhelmed with excitement that you aren’t always fully prepared. Don’t worry, we love to make sure all the rave babies have the best time possible. 

SnowGlobe was the pinnacle Winter rave event. With temperatures that dropped to 7 degrees, “winter rave” was no joke. Since the weather called for bundling up and keeping warm, creativity was pushed to the limit. Here are some of my favorite ways I saw creative expression at SnowGlobe.
